A gifting fest for Guardian and related fandoms: guardian-wishlist.dreamwidth.org.

guardian_wishlist is a Dreamwidth-based gifting fest along the lines of

fandomtrees,

fandomgiftbox, etc., but specifically for Guardian (novel, drama, and RPF) and other canons starring the main Guardian actors, with gifts revealed for the Reunion Festival (Mid-Autumn Festival) on 6 October.

How it works

Participants complete the sign-up template with a list of requests and prompts, as well as any DNWs (things they don't want). Sign-ups without Dreamwidth accounts must supply an email address, either in their sign-up or in a screened comment on the Ask a Mod post.
Mods post each person's requests in a separate post on guardian_wishlist. Comments are screened.
Anyone can write or make gifts for any sign-up, right up to reveals. There are no assignments, and you don't have to be signed up to participate in gift-giving. You don't need a Dreamwidth or AO3 account.
At reveals, mods unscreen comments and reveal the collection.

As of now, there are 41 gifts across the 22 wishlists, in a range of media. One wishlist still needs a gift, so take a look and see if you can help out!

And there's still time, so regardless of which wishlist inspires you, keep going if you feel like creating another gift or two! You can keep posting right up until reveals (or even after, if you don't quite finish in time). The spreadsheet includes a gift tally, and all wishlists are tagged for fandom and media!

Help make sure everyone gets a gift!

If you're working on something, the sooner you post, the better idea we'll have where things stand, but gifting will continue right up to reveals.

If you're willing to help out, please spread the word! You can reblog our Tumblr post, or use the promo graphics, text, and link to our Carrd we've assembled for your convenience - including a new reminder graphic with text, or feel free to write/make your own. Help us get the word out!

Wishlist comments are screened. Gifts must fit the requests, but prompts are optional. There are no minimums. Gifts must be unique to the recipient. Mods aren't reviewing gifts, so please check before you post that you haven't included any DNWs.

Sign-ups are still open on the 15th (any timezone). If you've been thinking of signing up for

guardian_wishlist, you have one day left until sign-ups close! Your wishlist can be as brief or as detailed as you like. You don't need a Dreamwidth account. (If you're signing up without a Dreamwidth account, we ask that you provide a current email address.)

Requests so far cover a range of related fandoms - from Guardian (drama, novel and RPF), to The Lost Tomb Reboot, Bank on Me, Detective L and other dramas, to commercials - and media from fic and art to meta, vids, picspams and podfic. There are no assignments, and signing up doesn't mean you're required to gift (though of course we hope you'll look at other wishlists and be inspired!).
