guardian_wishlist reveals!

As of now, there are 31 gifts across the 19 wishlists, in a range of media. Three wishlists still need a gift, so take a look and see if you can help out! And please spread the word if you can!

Either way there's still time, so regardless of which wishlist inspires you, keep going if you feel like creating another gift or two! You can keep posting right up until reveals (or even after, if you don't quite finish in time). The spreadsheet includes a gift tally, and all wishlists are tagged for fandom and media!

Reveals will happen no earlier than 7am UTC on Tuesday, 17 September. (What time is that for me? | Countdown)

If you've been meaning to take a look at the requests and make a little something or two, all wishlists are tagged for fandoms and media and open for receiving gifts. (Previous years' tags are labelled with their respective years, so check the plain fandom and media tags at the bottom for this year's wishlists.) Wishlist comments are screened.

guardian_wishlist, you have one day left until sign-ups close! Your wishlist can be as brief or as detailed as you like. You don't need a Dreamwidth account. (If you're signing up without a Dreamwidth account, we ask that you provide a current email address.)

Requests so far cover a range of related fandoms - from Guardian (drama, novel and RPF), to The Lost Tomb Reboot, Detective L and other dramas, to commercials - and media from fic and art to meta, gifs, picspams and memes. There are no assignments, and signing up doesn’t mean you're required to gift (though of course we hope you'll look at other wishlists and be inspired!).

Use the template below
Eligible fandoms are Guardian (drama, novel, and RPF) and other canons and crossovers starring the main Guardian actors. Minimum number of fandoms is one. If you need to adapt the template to include more or fewer fandoms, feel free, but please keep the basic outline. (It's very simple.)

To sign up:

Copy the template in the textbox.
Fill it out.
Post it with the textarea tags in a comment on this post.
Your sign-up can be as brief or as detailed as you like. If your fandoms are commercials, photo shoots, etc., include a link to them, if possible.

Find the setting here: Profile > Set My Preferences > Collections, Challenges and Gifts > "Allow anyone to gift me works."

If your AO3 account is set to not allow gifts, you're still welcome to participate! We'll add a note to that effect on your public wishlist, and your gift(s) can be left in Dreamwidth comments and/or added to the AO3 collection without a recipient. Please be aware that we can't control who will make you gifts.

guardian_wishlist is a Dreamwidth-based gifting fest along the lines of

fandomtrees,

fandomgiftbox, etc., but specifically for Guardian (novel, drama, and RPF) and other canons starring the main Guardian actors, with gifts revealed for the Reunion Festival (Mid-Autumn Festival) on 17 September.

How it works

Participants complete the sign-up template with a list of requests and prompts, as well as any DNWs. Sign-ups without Dreamwidth accounts must supply an email address, either in their sign-up or in a screened comment on the Ask a Mod post.
Mods post each person's requests in a separate post on guardian_wishlist. Comments are screened.
Anyone can write or make gifts for any sign-up, right up to reveals. There are no assignments, and you don't have to be signed up to participate in gift-giving. You don't need a Dreamwidth or AO3 account.
At reveals, mods unscreen comments and reveal the collection.
