Daomu biji requests?

I want to request a daomu biji fic - where Zhu yilong plays wu xie, the main character, but prior to daomu biji chongqi/reboot. It's still with the same character and with an character element zhu yilong insisted on bringing into chongqi from daomu biji novelverse, but is technically from daomu biji sha hai (novelverse) times, not chongqi/reboot times. Can I still request it?

If you're looking for something that works with Zhu Yilong's portrayal of Wu Xie, it's welcome here! Even if it's set earlier in the timeline, yes.

If we mainly like side characters, is that okay?

Hi! I am interested in joining this but my main faves are side characters. Is that welcome? Or is it preferable to join in if I like the main characters Shen Wei and Zhao Yunlan?

Hi, I was wondering:

I also participate in the Guardian Bingo, and I realized that the fic I just started to write as a gift for one of the wishlists might end up also fitting for one of my bingo card squares. The Bingo allows fics written for other events to be subbmitted for the Bingo as well, as long as the mods of the event in question agree.

So my question: Would I be allowed to use the fic I'm writing as a bingo submission as well, provided I follow all the wishlist rules and post it to the closed collection and don't share anything about it online before reveals? It will still be written entirely for the person whose wishlist it is based on, it just also happens to maybe fit one of my bingo card squares, but I don't want to accidentally make the person I'm gifting it to feel like I'm gifting them a fic I wrote for a different event :((

If you say no that is fine of course (and I don't even know yet for sure if it really will fit, so this might just be a hypothetical), but I wanted to make sure to ask in any case!

No worries! From our side there's no issue at all with counting a Wishlist gift as a bingo fill as well. :)

Art gifts

What is the policy for the posting of art gifts on tumblr?

I'm making an art gift for one of the wishlists, but I only use my AO3 account for fanfic, so I don't want to post it there. I'd like to post it to tumblr, but tumblr has no way to hide a post (afaik).

So do I just respond to the wishlist in question with a "gift will be linked to soon" message and then post on tumblr and drop the link in another comment on the wishlist once reveals day comes around?

Hi there! We've consulted with some tumblr people, and there is indeed a way to post your artwork to tumblr without it being publicly viewable. The way it works:

1. Make sure you have custom themes enabled in your settings.
2. Click the drop-down arrow on the Post Now button and select Post Privately. Then click Post.
3. Go to the post.
4. Click the three dots at the top left and select Copy Link.
5. Paste the link into a file to check that it's in the username.tumblr.com format (not tumblr.com/username).
6. Post your link in a comment on the wishlist you're gifting to (with any additional info you want to include).
