General Likes: emotional or physical hurt/comfort, whump, sickfic, angst (with or without a happy ending), found family, (nonsexual) kink exploration, exploration of queer themes, character studies, RPF welcome as well. In general the more cathartic the better. Fluff is okay, but preferred in contrast to angst.
General DNWs: kidfic, pregnancy mentions, canon divergence or different setting AUs (though for Guardian a verse in which Weilan survive the canon ending is fine), very explicit body horror (though mild gore is fine), romance as main focus of fic plot.
Fandom: Guardian
Shen Wei is my favourite character, so anything focused on him will be a good start.
More specifically:
- Anything that explores Haixing-Dixing relations, Dixing culture and/or language, or the workings of Dark Energy and/or the Guardian Treaty.
- Exploration of Dixingren biology (in a sexual or non-sexual context).
- Exploration of Shen Wei's function as Hei Pao Shi, urban legends or otherwise stories about him among Dixingren living in Haixing. Him interacting with Dixingren in Haixing. Anything that explores his kindness as well as his badass warrior persona. (Though views on him do not at all have to be all positive, in fact I prefer some harsher and/or more nuanced takes! Go wild!)
- Student Shen Wei (may or may not include his friendship with Cheng Xinyan)
- Shen Wei's relationship with Chu Shuzhi
- The aftereffects of being buried for 10.000 years on Shen Wei (physically or mentally).
- Exploration of Weilan's mutually self-destructive tendencies and the effects this may have on their relationship.
- Exploration of Shen Wei's relationship with all the SID members.
Note that I like the canon ending, so you don't have to fix-it AU it, but you can if you want.
Guardian DNWs: Ye Zun as prominent character (mentions of him are fine); Chu Shuzhi/Guo Changcheng as anything more than a side-pairing.
Fandom: DMBJ
- Any and all exploration of the effects of Wu Xie's illness during Reboot and/or his recovery after Thunder City (the whumpier the better).
- Pangxie or Iron Triangle OT3.
- Exploration of Wu Xie's friendship with Bai Haotian.
DMBJ DNWs: (Mentions of) Pingxie without the inclusion of Pangzi.
Fandom: The Rebel
- Exploration of Chen Moqun's character arc as it relates to Lin Nansheng (may or may not include his (former) friendship with Gu Shenyan).
- Lin Nansheng whump (physical or emotional, go wild!).
- Crossovers with Detective L canon. LuoLin fic.
- Exploration of Lin Nansheng & Lan Xinjie's relationship.
The Rebel DNWs: Any depiction of Chen Moqun that flattens his character into 100% villain.
