(Exception: I'm 100% open to supernatural horror stuff for this fandom! A Lovecraftian Eldritch Gods AU would be amazing. Ghosts, possession, cursed objects, uncanny sea monsters, etc. — all good!)

Fandom: 重啟之極海聽雷 | The Lost Tomb Reboot

Characters: Wu Xie & Xiaoge & Wang Pangzi | Wu Xie & Wang Pangzi | Wu Xie & Wu Erbai | Wang Pangzi & Liu Sang

Thoughts/Prompts:

I completely adore all the dark underground tomb exploration stuff on this show, dangerous ancient traps and mechanisms, possibly-haunted artifacts, psychological horror, labyrinths, thunder and rain, rescue missions, competence porn, etc., and would be delighted with Tomb Shenanigans in any form. :D Mission fic, or a spooky drabble in a rainstorm, or some quiet shared moment in the van on the way back from a tomb raid, or someone saving Wu Xie from his usual indifference to self-preservation...

I love the Iron Triangle. <3 I also love Wu Erbai and Liu Sang, and for additional or background characters, I'm quite fond of pretty much everyone who ended up on Wu Xie's haphazardly-assembled team(s) in S2.

ALSO, the hurt/comfort and platonic intimacy tropes on this show are truly beyond anything, and more of that would be amazing. All the domestic stuff at Wushanju and during the Warehouse 11 sequence, Pangzi putting blankets on Wu Xie, carrying him, both of them sleeping against each other’s shoulders all the damn time, canonical Iron Triangle huddling for warmth... and of course, everyone being a BAMF basically 100% the time whether they’re injured or not, protecting each other, hiding their injuries from each other, getting very pissed off about it when they find out... I’m very much here for all of this.

There are some hurt/comfort prompts for Wu Xie & Wang Pangzi in my H/C Exchange letter, but I should note that although all my requests there are for hurt Wu Xie, I am also 100% here for other characters being hurt instead/too, or angsting or having nightmares, etc. — maybe especially Pangzi. <3 (He talks big but I feel like he spends a lot of time kind of treating himself like he's just Wu Xie's sidekick, and I love seeing how Wu Xie reacts when he realizes that, or when something happens to Pangzi, e.g. Wu Xie binding Pangzi's leg and carrying him after he tries to hide the fact that he's injured, or the restrained emotional h/c stuff after they find out about Piaopiao).

I'm mostly pulling these ideas from past letters, and I don't have any specific prompts prepared for Wu Erbai or Liu Sang, but I love the mingled affection and antagonism in Wu Xie and Wu Erbai's relationship, and the antagonism-turned-friendship between Pangzi and Liu Sang. I also love Liu Sang's auditory mapping abilities and the fact that he learns the knocking language. Anything you want to do with any of that, during or post-canon, would be excellent. :D
